About MSS International Services Limited

MSS International Services Limited was incorporated in 1995 and is a licensed trustee in terms of Article 43 of the Trusts and Trustees Act.  The Company offers a wide range of services including company and trust incorporation, trusteeship, tax consultancy, business restructuring advice, operational support, directorships and secretarial services.

The directors of the company who have substantial international experience are:

Michael Scerri, FCCA, CPA, FIA, TEP, accountant and auditor by profession was founder member of Mizzi, Scerri, Said & Co, a firm of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors incorporated in 1984 which in the year 2000 became a full member of Ernst & Young and changed its name to Ernst & Young Malta on 1 July 2000. Michael Scerri retired from the partnership with effect from 1 January 2002 in order to concentrate on MSS International Services Limited. In past years Michael Scerri was active in the Malta Institute of Accountants having served on the council for a number of years and held several posts in the Institute's structure including Chairmanship of its taxation committee. Currently Michael Scerri serves on the Financial Services Economic Sector of the Malta Chamber of Commerce having been the chairman of this Sector for a number of years.

Martin H. Said, FCCA, FIA, CPA, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and of the Malta Institute of Accountants.  He served in various capacities on several committees, both social and professional including the Federation of Professional Bodies, Malta Institute of Accountants and Institute of Financial Services Practitioners.  He is a retired Ernst & Young Partner and is currently director and consultant to companies specialised in various fields, in particular the international business sector.

Miguel Zammit Tabona, AIFSP, is a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners and has been active within the company for over eleven years.  He is directly responsible for client handling.

Stephen Balzan, BA(Hons) Accty, CPA, is an accountant by profession and has specialised in taxation. His past appointments included employment with Ernst & Young, Malta with which firm he held the post of tax manager and previously with the Malta representative firm of Arthur Andersen. He is widely experienced in tax planning and advice and serves on the direct taxation committee of the Malta Institute of Taxation.
